- Local Biz Pages (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides one‑page websites for local businesses. By using our services, you (“you”, “client”) agree to these Terms.
- Scope of service
- We design, build and publish a single‑page website based on the information you provide.
- Inclusions and exclusions are defined in your order confirmation or project email.
- We do not provide search engine optimisation or Google Business Profile management.
- Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, lawful content (text, images, logos, contact details) and confirm that you have the right to use it.
- Review drafts promptly and provide clear feedback within requested timeframes.
- Approve the final page before publication.
- Keep your contact details up to date and notify us of any changes you need on the page.
- Content and publishing
- You authorise us to publish your business contact details (e.g., phone, email, address, opening hours, social links) on your public page.
- You are responsible for ensuring those details are suitable for public display.
- If you request removal or changes, we will act within a reasonable time.
- Intellectual property
- You retain ownership of your supplied content.
- We retain ownership of our templates, design elements, code, and workflows used to deliver your page. These may not be copied or resold without permission.
- Upon final delivery and any due approvals, you receive a licence to use the completed page for your business while hosted with us or, if applicable, when transferred to your hosting.
- Edits and support
- Your order includes a defined number of revision rounds. Additional edits may be treated as new work.
- Minor fixes for errors we introduced will be corrected at no extra cost within a reasonable period.
- Ongoing updates after launch are available by arrangement.
- Hosting and domains
- We can publish your page on your domain or a domain we manage for you.
- If we provide hosting or domain management, you agree to our reasonable usage rules and any third‑party provider terms.
- If you host elsewhere, you are responsible for providing timely access and maintaining your hosting environment.
- Acceptable use You agree not to use the page for unlawful, misleading, or harmful content or activities, including but not limited to spam, malware, harassment, or infringement of third‑party rights. We may suspend or remove content that breaches these Terms or applicable law.
- Privacy We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. By using our service, you consent to the processing necessary to deliver the service, including publishing your chosen business contact details.
- Third‑party services Your page may use third‑party tools (e.g., contact forms, maps, fonts). Their terms and privacy policies apply to those features.
- Downtime and changes We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify the service, templates, or technologies used to deliver your page. Where changes materially affect your page, we will give reasonable notice.
- Warranties and liability
- We provide the service with reasonable skill and care.
- The service is otherwise provided “as is.” We do not guarantee specific business outcomes or search rankings.
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific work giving rise to the claim or, if unpaid, to a reasonable sum reflecting the work performed.
- Termination
- You may cancel before publication by notifying us in writing.
- We may suspend or terminate service if you breach these Terms, provide unlawful content, or fail to provide required information.
- Upon termination, we will remove the page from publication. We may provide a copy of the page assets on request where permitted.
- Disputes and governing law These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
